Although I didn't graduate with the rest of the class, as my family moved to Davenport, Iowa at the end of my Sophomore year, I grew up in Peoria, attended Woodrow Wilson Grade School and my freshman and sophomore years at Richwoods. I rememer so many more classmates from growing up than I do from the Davenport school. Would love to reconnect with some of you!

| Comment: I worked for CILCO 18 years and then took a job for ComEd in Chicago for 10 years. My hobby is painting with oils and pastels. Currently, my husband and I travel around the world. I have two wonderful sons and 6 grandkids. My daughter passed over 10 years ago and miss her terribly. I belong to several art leagues and the Red Hat Ladies group. | Comment: After graduating from Illinois State, moved to Chicago and spent 10 years in insurance business. Married Karen , college sweetheart. Married for 41 years, until she passed away unexpectedly in 2014.In Chicago we lived a block from Wrigly Field and then out to McHenry County on the Fox River.In 1987 moved to San Francisco where I worked for a wholesale distributor and my wife was a facility manager for Sandoz Pharma In Pali Alto. In 1994 we moved to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and spent 10 years in the restaurant business in a resort area. In 2007 my wife was offered a position with Dr. Pepper in Dallas, Tx . Currently, I’m retired living in McKinney, Tx, and spend time fishing and have been on birdwatching trips around the world. I have one daughter, Caitlin, who lives in New York City , and is a college administrator.She played Division 1 college golf, and her partner was a college hockey player. I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Dave Wand this year , and have fished with Dave at Lake Texoma in North Texas and Ontario, Canada. Looking forward to attending the reunion. | |

Ron Miller. AFS student to Germany and 4 years on Richwoods swim team. Went to U Illinois both undergrad and medical school. Awarded fellowship for year in Australia. Ophthalmology (eye surgery) training at U Texas. Medical practice in Mattoon, Il for past 39 years and still in practice. Wife, Myrna, married 43 years, 3 grown kids and 8 grandchildren. All thankfully live within 1/2 hour from us. In our "spare time" we live in the country and farm 180 acres and have a small cattle herd. Past 15 years, have made an annual surgical mission trip to Honduras in Central America, and yes, still make an annual Canadian canoeing/fishing trip. Hoping to make it to the reunion. |

Bonnie (Murray) and I will be at the 50th. Looking forward to seeing our old friends. We have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren who fortunately resemble Bonnie waaay more than me! We have lived in Ft. Collins, CO for almost 40 years. Our older son and his family (2 of our grandchildren)live 2 blocks from us and our younger son and his family(our other 2 grandchildren) live in Charleston, SC. |

After high school, I couldn’t afford to go to college, so I worked at Commercial National Bank until I was hired at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, in June 1970--been there ever since. I am a Program Support Assistant, and anxious to reitre SOON. Thirty nine years in one place is plenty! However, I plan on finding a part time job. I enjoy gardening, pet sitting, and fixing up my house. I have two nephews who live in Jacksonville, FL: John Orr has 3 children 16, 17, and 12 years; and Randy Orr, 2 children, 9 and 6 yrs old. Their father, Jim Orr, is a graduate of Richwoods 1966. My sister Charlene (Murphy) Henry is a graduate of 1967 and lives here. I also have one niece “in-law” and two nephew “in laws” who are all attending college and with whom I share as much time as I can.

Moved to Texas shortly after graduation, I am divorced and have 2 children. Have managed to miss all past reunions, hoping I might be able to make this one. Retiring at the end of 2018 and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. |
