Comment: I currently live in Winston Salem, Nc. I recently retired from Caterpillar after being with them for 40 years. I relocated 9 times over the years including Illinois, Iowa, Japan, and North Carolina. I moved to the Winston Salem area after retiring to be closer to my son and grandson. My daughter lives in the Dallas, Texas area and I so much wish I could see her more. I do get back to Peoria once in a while as my mother and sister still live there so it would be nice to see everyone after all these years.

Married for 41 years to Minnesota native Bruce.  Graduated Indiana U and U of MN. I retired October 31, 2013 from doing computer tech support at Rosemount High School where our kids went.  Daughter Laurel in Gainesville, TX, working at Zodiac Aircraft where many commercial airline seats are designed and made. Her job supports her small hobby farm with 4 horses, a mule, and dog. They are our “grandanimals”. Son CJ (Christopher), Air Force pilot (A 10 Thunderbolt), wife, and almost 5 yr old granddaughter are soon to move to Moody AFB in Georgia. Our kids live in great places to visit in the winter from here in Minnesota. I love retirement, play in 2 community bands, do some volunteering with the church, and am working on putting together the family tree for our kids and our someday grandkids. I really enjoyed the 30 year and 45th reunions and plan to make the 50th.  Facebook has been great reconnecting with classmates all over the country and world.

Comment: I have been married to classmate Jim Ashton for 26 years.  We have three grown children.  Chris lives near St. Paul, Minnesota, where he works as a computer engineer for Cray, Inc.  Tim is an art student at Illinois Central College.  Stephanie, a sophomore at the U. of I., plays piccolo in the Marching Illini and is majoring in cinema studies.  Jim works at Foth Infrastructure and Environment, an engineering firm in Peoria.  As an adult, I have been an urban planner, management trainee, substitute teacher, paid community volunteer, and stay-at-home Mom.  I have also been a Sunday School teacher, Picture Person volunteer, Girl Scout leader, and Boy Scout Venture Crew advisor.  I hope to see lots of classmates at the reunion.  Thanks to those who put this together!

Comment: I am so thrilled to find this website.  I have missed the past reunions because I guess I did not update my address. 


I have been blessed to be married to my husband Ray for 36 years.  We live in Bloomington, Il.   We have one daughter, Jill, who is married to Andy and they have 4 children.   Our 4 grandkids live in Gridley, Il so we are about 20 minutes from each other.   Love being a grandma!!   We have 2 biological grandkids, and one from Korea and one from Ethiopia.  


It has been fun to read what everyone is doing and to try to connect with a few friends from the past.   I hope to be at the 45th!!
