Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: Retired from HP
Comment: My wife, Donna and I moved to Tampa, FL on August 24, 2019 from just south of Omaha, NE on Beaver Lake. I retired on Sept 1, 2012 after 38 years with HP so we sold our Dallas, Texas home and moved back closer to family in Nebraska. We enjoy the summers here on the lake and Sundays in the fall at the KC Chiefs games plus go to lots of Nebaska Cornhusker Football games too. I now have the best job and office view as I am a "Professional Fishing Guide" 6 months out of the year on beautiful Lake Texoma, TX catching lots of big Striped Bass!

We have "kids" in 3 locations - Kansas City (Joe -40), Eugene, OR (Andy 37) and Tampa, Fl. (Ryan 32).  I enjoy staying in touch with many of you via Facebook and email. We are looking forward to the 50 year reunion in 2019...and beyound!  See you there.

Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: trying to decide
Comment: Moved to the San Francisco area after school at Princeton and, except for a short time in London, have been here ever since. Went to grad school at Stanford, first in engineering and then business school.

Worked as a seismic engineer for a while. (very topical out here) But then switched to working in high tech companies for the last 25 years. Started my own company. Participated in the dot com boom (fun), and then the bust (painful). Just sold the last company and trying to figure out what to do now.

A wife, 3 kids, a cat and a dog. She's a nurse at Stanford. One son graduated from Dartmouth and is looking for a job. Another son at Duke (and sooo into basketball) and the youngest daughter just started at Univ of Oregon.

Bonnie Wellman (Hinds)

Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: retired/ volunteer
Comment: Been married for almost 40 years, have 3 amazing girls, one in Ventura CA, one in Tucson, AZ and one in Houston AZ. I have 4 granddaughters age 6,5,4 and 1 plus a grandson who is almost 3 months. We've moved 11 times since we were married, including 6 years in Indonesia, and have retired to Mesa, AZ after 6 yrs. in Hawaii. I know--"why would you leave Hawaii to go to Mesa?" In a word--Grandchildren! Our whole family lives on this continent for the first time in 10 years. Hawaii was great, but the grandchildren are greater! "Grandmaitis" hit me hard and I now spend a good portion of my time with them.

Don Wetekam

Marital status: Married
Children: 4
Occupation: University Program Chair
Comment: I’ve retired twice – 34 years with the Air Force and 11 years in the commercial aviation industry.  I’m now on to  career #3,  serving as Exec. in Residence at the Univ. of Oklahoma Engineering College and also working for the OK Dept. of Commerce promoting the state’s aerospace industry. So I’m busier than I thought I would be at this point of my life, but enjoying it all immensely.  My wife Sheri and I have four kids and six grandkids, soon to be seven.   Our primary home is in Oklahoma City but we also enjoy spending as much free time as we can muster on the Hiwassee River in East TN.

In my spare time, I still enjoy running (albeit a lot slower), reading, and tinkering with a couple old sports cars.  While I haven’t had any ties to Peoria since 1969 (I left for the AF Academy two weeks after high school graduation), I have enjoyed seeing so many of you at the last few reunions and am looking forward to the 50th.

Comment:

July 2019: I've been married for 47 years to Bill, my college sweetheart. We have one wonderful son, a lovely daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren (ages 6 and 4).

We’ve lived in the Chicago area for all but 2 of the last 47 years. I retired from my Medicare administration career (medical policy and data analytics) and consulting work in early 2017 and am loving every minute  of my freedom. These days, you’ll find me dabbling in watercolors, playing my piano, traveling now and then, and enjoying my grandkids.  Life really doesn’t get any better than this!

Wishing everyone a wonderful rest-of-summer until we meet again in the fall.

Comment: Scott Woodley (also class of '69) and I married in 1981 and are living in Castle Rock, Colorado today.

We have 2 daughters, 32 and 26.  The oldest is still in Austin Texas where she went to school.  The youngest followed us to Colorado and is living and working in Denver.

We have 3 grandchildren in Austin (with a 4th on the way.)

I don't know if we'll make it for the reunion, but we'd love to hear from y'all!
