I’ve retired twice – 34 years with the Air Force and 11 years in the commercial aviation industry.  I’m now on to  career #3,  serving as Exec. in Residence at the Univ. of Oklahoma Engineering College and also working for the OK Dept. of Commerce promoting the state’s aerospace industry. So I’m busier than I thought I would be at this point of my life, but enjoying it all immensely.  My wife Sheri and I have four kids and six grandkids, soon to be seven.   Our primary home is in Oklahoma City but we also enjoy spending as much free time as we can muster on the Hiwassee River in East TN.

In my spare time, I still enjoy running (albeit a lot slower), reading, and tinkering with a couple old sports cars.  While I haven’t had any ties to Peoria since 1969 (I left for the AF Academy two weeks after high school graduation), I have enjoyed seeing so many of you at the last few reunions and am looking forward to the 50th.

Hello classmates!  I can't believe 50 years ago we were just graduated and looking forward to our path into adulthood/college/work.  I'm retired now ... from Caterpillar which took me around the world three times working with Caterpillar Dealers.  It was my third career ... first was a hairdresser ... second working in politics ... then on to big yellow.  I did a decompress after Cat for HomeInstead Senior Care.  Then retired for real.  Am now the Visual Worship Leader at my church, a dedicated volunteer to the family selection/support process at Habitat for Humanity and I help rescue Cairn Terriers.  My dogs love me. Life is GOOD!  God is GREAT! Retirement is the bomb.   Send Mary a MessageSend Mary a Message
Deb Humphrey (Wilhelm)
Retired Married 1

July 2019: I've been married for 47 years to Bill, my college sweetheart. We have one wonderful son, a lovely daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren (ages 6 and 4).

We’ve lived in the Chicago area for all but 2 of the last 47 years. I retired from my Medicare administration career (medical policy and data analytics) and consulting work in early 2017 and am loving every minute  of my freedom. These days, you’ll find me dabbling in watercolors, playing my piano, traveling now and then, and enjoying my grandkids.  Life really doesn’t get any better than this!

Wishing everyone a wonderful rest-of-summer until we meet again in the fall.

Living in St. Louis.  Enjoying having both kids living here in town after years of being away.  Meghan was in California for 6 years, and Jon has been all over the globe, having lived in Honduras twice and Cozumel.  2 grandkids, Alex 18 and Elliot 11.  Loving the time to cook, read, garden, paddle my canoe in the crystal clear Ozark Mountain streams and fish.
Hope to get a chance to catch up with many of the Facebook friends I have made over the past few years, and all of the other walking memories of our high school youth.
